The deadline to enter is March 23, 2025. We will not accept any entries after this day. All participants must be at BIMA on April 27, 2025 no later than 5:30 with their completed project to be eligible to participate in the fashion show and be eligible for prizes.

Space is limited to 20 teams and/or individuals.
Certain notions may be provided by designers. However, they should not be newly purchased; they should be upcycled, repurposed, or pre-existing in a household.
Models must be able to move around freely and sit down in their outfit.
All designers, if chosen, must provide their own models. Diverse models encouraged – all ages, gender, and ethnicity.

Student Challenge guidelines:
Open to all middle school/high school students (ages 11-18).
Work either individually or as part of a team.
Create one cohesive outfit by upcycling a pair of jeans and a T-shirt using other used clothing items or textiles.
Every item must be finished and all participants checked in at BIMA by 5:30 on April 27 in order to qualify for prizes and the show.
Individual: 1 complete outfit. Entry fee: $10
Team: 1-5 complete outfits; no limit to number of team members. Total entry fee: $20
